There is a trendy product that is creating quite a stir in the health and wellness arena and with good reason. These are the compounds that are sold as pricey supplements to reduce inflammation, arthritis and joint pain.

Fallon also went on to say that most store-bought stock and broth today aren’t REAL. Instead, companies are using lab-produced meat flavors in bouillon cubes, soup and sauce mixes. Manufacturers also began using monosodium glutamate (MSG), which is recognized as a meat flavor but in reality is a neurotoxin and is definitely not good for your health.

Many people in the health conscious community have always been fascinated by the benefits that have been derived after someone partake of a meal of bone broth. As a matter of fact, the University of Nebraska Medical Center did a study of chicken soup (broth). This study was conducted to find out what was in the soup that made it so beneficial for colds and flu.

Researchers found that the amino acids that were produced when making chicken stock reduced inflammation in the respiratory system and improved digestion. Also, research is now proving that it can also boost the immune system and heal disorders like allergies, asthma and arthritis.

Now, if you really wanted the REAL bone broth and real bone broth benefits, you could probably make it yourself at home. It can be time-consuming, and would take some doing if you’re the adventurous type. You would need to go out and get the ingredients, probably bones from grass-fed animals from your local farmers market or from a online health food store like Wise Choice Market, etc.
